OTEKS software contains the programs for solution of all most frequently met problems of data analysis. Investigation of data tables of «object-property» type is usually started from the attempt to group the objects according to similarity of their properties. It is made by means of taxonomy programs. It is important to determine the properties, carrying the most important part of the information. The software has programs for selection of the most informative properties submultitude. Pattern recognition programs are used for determination of belonging of new object to one of the existing classes. If the data table contains the missed data, they may be recovered by means of ZET programs family (filling of empirical tables). These programs may be also used for discovering of gross errors in the table. Programs for prognosis of multidimensional dynamic series give the way to predict future events on the base of regularities found in the array of preceding events.
