LOCATION The Conference will take place at the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Conference Hall, from 9h30 to 13h00 and from 15h00 to 18h30. The address is

The Institute is located in Akademgorodok, 45 minutes from Novosibirsk city.

REGISTRATION All participants attending the workshop and all accompanying persons must register. Registration and distribution of the conference material starts on Monday, August 15 at 9.00.
TRANSPORTATION Public transport in Novosibirsk is presented by bus, tram and subway. The fare is about 12-20 RUB for a single-journey ticket.

From the Airport to Akademgorodok Novosibirsk airport is located about 50-60 minutes by taxi (about 600 RUB) from Akademgorodok.

From Akademgorodok to the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics The SobolevInstitute of Mathematics is located about 10 minutes from the hotel.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION The Organising Committee has appointed the GOLDEN VALLEY HOTEL (ZOLOTAYA DOLINA) for hotel accommodation. Hotel rates are 1800-3000 RUB per night. The hotel is located in the very heart of Akademgorodok, about 10 min walking distance from the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics.

USEFUL INFORMATION Climate August is generally sufficiently warm with temperature around 20 C. Don't forget your umbrella, however, since it may also be rainy.

Currency and Banks The currency unit in Russia is the Russian Ruble (RUB). Coins: 10 and 50 KOPEJKA; 1, 2, 5 and 10 RUB. Notes: 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 RUB. As of October 2010: USD 1 is about RUB 30; Euro 1 is about RUB 39.
Foreign currency and traveller's cheques can be exchanged in banks (open Monday-Friday 9.30-13.00 and 14.00-17.00). Bank offices are located near the Hotel.

VAT and Tipping VAT and tips are included in prices. It is not customary to tip taxi drivers.

Shopping Shops are usually open Monday to Sunday from 9.00 (10.00) to 19.00 (20.00). Some food shops are open 24 hours a day.

Electric appliances The voltage in Russia is 220 AC (50 Hz).
