Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok and Higher School of Economics organize The International conference-school on algebraic geometry ''Siberian summer school: Current developments in Geometry''. It will be held in Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, 4 Acad. Koptyug avenue, on August 29 - September 1, 2022.
Scientific program consists of mini-courses of invited speakers and short talks of young researchers.Registration is closed.

The main goal of this conference is to introduce students to new cutting edge directions in Geometry and the ways the research of Laboratory of Mirror Symmetry NRU HSE relates to them.

Stepanov’s method and points on curves over finite field. Yuri Prokhorov (Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS, Moscow). Fano varieties: an introduction. Sergei Tsarev (Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk). Modelling in applied mathematics from the point of view of a "pure mathematician".We hope that this will lead to long term interests in these research directions and life long collaborations.
