Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok and Higher School of Economics organize The International conference-school on algebraic geometry ''Siberian summer school: Current developments in Geometry''. It will be held in Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, 4 Acad. Koptyug avenue, on August 26 - 30, 2024.
Scientific program consists of mini-courses of invited speakers and short talks of young researchers.Organizers:

The main goal of this conference is to introduce students to new cutting edge directions in Geometry and the ways the research of Laboratory of Mirror Symmetry NRU HSE relates to them.
The following courses will be given.
Dmitry Kaparulin (TSU, Tomsk). Aspects of Chern-Simons theory. Konstantin Loginov (HSE, Moscow). Singularities in birational geometry. Anton Savin (RUDN, Moscow). Atiyah-Singer theorem about the index of elliptic operators. Dmitry Zaporozhets (PDMI, St. Petersburg). Random matrices in high dimensional geometry.We hope that this will lead to long term interests in these research directions and life long collaborations.
