The purpose of the current Summer School is to spread the modern scientific advances in mathematics, with the emphasis on the results that were obtained in Sobolev Institute of Mathematics. We also aim to encourage communication and collaboration between students of different areas of scientific interests and from different universities.
This year's School will focus on important topics of modern algebra, namely the theory of finite-dimensional Lie algebras and the theory of Gröbner-Shirshov basis.
Prof. Maxim Goncharov will present a lecture course "Finite-dimensional Lie algebras".
Prof. Vsevolod Gubarev will present a lecture course "Gröbner-Shirshov basis for associative algebras".
