Vladimir Gavrilovich

V.G. Romanov (born November 5, 1938,) graduated from the Moscow State University in 1961. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematical Institute, Minsk in 1965. He became Doctor of Science in Institute of Mathematics, Novosibirsk in 1969. Now V.G. Romanov is the Head of a laboratory of the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics.

 

V.G. Romanov is a Professor of Mathematical Department of the Novosibirsk State University. There are 2 Full Professors and 28 Ph.D. among his students.

V.G. Romanov is a Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Sciences.

Prof. V.G. Romanov is USSR State Prize Winner (1987).

Prof. V.G. Romanov is Associate Editor of journals: Siberian Mathematical Journal, Siberian Advances in Mathematics, Siberian Journal of Computational Mathematics, Differential Equations, Journal of Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems.

V.G. Romanov has published about 160 research papers and books.
