The international conference "Applied Probability Workshop" (poster) will continue the tradition of international research conferences in Siberia. This year the conference will be held from August 19 to 23 at NSU. The conference participants will discuss current trends in many areas of modern probability theory and its applications.
The purpose of the conference is to expand and strengthen cooperation between NSU, universities in France, Great Britain, Germany, Australia and China, the Steklov Mathematical Institute and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of actively developing areas of probability theory and its applications. There will be an exchange of new theoretical knowledge in the field of branching processes, random walks, queuing theory, random graphs, actuarial models. There are currently several joint probabilistic research projects in the probability area between Novosibirsk researchers and their colleagues from Moscow and from France, U.K., Germany, China and Australia.
