in Advanced Probability
"Stochastic equations and random walks on graphs"

Novosibirsk State University, 2017
March 13-17, 2017, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation
General information
Novosibirsk Probability School, led by academician A.A. Borovkov, is well known in the scientific community both in Russia and abroad. Within the last three years, the Applied Probability Laboratory of NSU has successfully organised a number of research School in modern directions of probability theory, jointly with the Chair and Laboratory of Probability and Mathematical Statistics of NSU and Institute of Mathematics. In 2017, a number of similar Schools will be organised under the umbrella of the International Mathematical Center of NSU. The first research School will take place 13--17 March. The School participants will have a chance to learn novel results on analysis of complex stochastic networks with large numbers of nodes and links. In particular, there will be introduced new algorithms for their study based on random walks on graphs. Further, the programme includes a lecture course on modern view on stochastic differential equations.

The School will be opened at 14:25 on Monday, March 13th. The Opening and three introductory lectures will take place in room 4109, Novosibirsk State University.
