AirportThere are many daily flights to Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport from Moscow. There are also direct international flights from Frankfurt, Prague, Istanbul, Barcelona, etc. The airport has 2 terminals: Domestic (Terminal A) and International (Terminal B). To withdraw cash from a bank card in the Airport, walk to Terminal A and use one of the ATMs (cash machines). Currency can be exchanged in Terminal A as well. You can also do the same later in the hotel or the Trading Center near the Hotel. Here is a link to a currency convertor. Note that the actual conversion rates may change with time and only approximately agree with the link. There is a carrier taxi desk in Terminal A (arrivals hall, right-hand side if viewed from entrance) where you can get a taxi to Akademgorodok (to the Hotel "Zolotaya Dolina / Golden Valley" or to the New Student Dormitory of NSU). You can also request beforehand that the organizers order a taxi for you and the taxi will meet you upon arrival. The cost of the trip will be about the same, which is approximately 1000 RUB. We do not recommend to catch a random taxi nor accept the service of private taxi drivers in or near the airport. TrainIf you get to Novosibirsk by train, you can transfer to Akademgorodok by a mini-bus number 15 from the bus terminal in front of the train station Novosibirsk-Glavnyi.
