Program

The range of topics that are within the scope of the conference includes (but is not limited to): partial differential equations, equations of mathematical physics, ordinary differential equations, delay differential equations, operator theory, spectral theory, function spaces, embedding theorems, approximation theory, cubature formulas.

The scientific program includes plenary lectures, lecture courses, and short communications.

The following lecture courses will be given at the School-Conference.

Corresponding Member of  the RAS, Prof. Dr. Pavel I. Plotnikov (Novosibirsk)
Lecture course: Mathematical problems of viscous compressible fluid dynamics (3 lectures)

Prof. Dr. Evgenii V. Radkevich (Moscow)
Lecture 1: On laminar-turbulent transition and Rayleigh-Benard convective instability as nonequilibrium phase transitions (in Cahn-Hillard form)
Lecture 2: Nonstandard hydrodynamics (the birth of two-speed behaviour) and Marangoni instability

Prof. Dr. Alexander L. Skubachevskii (Moscow)
Lecture 1: Solvability and smoothness of weak solutions to elliptic differential-difference equations
Lecture 2: Applications to the theory of nonlocal elliptic problems and to the Kato problem on the square root of an operator
Lecture 3: Applications to the study of elastic deformations of multilayered plates and shells as well as to the theory of nonlinear laser systems with feedback

In the framework of the conference the participants will be able to watch documentary films about distinguished Soviet and Russian scientists, about the history of foundation and development of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences. The films were made at the Studio "Asia-film". Film director is laureate of the State prize of the Russian Federation, honored art worker of the Russian Federation Vladimir E. Eisner.
