About Journal

The journal Discrete Analysis and Operations Research was founded in 1994 by the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of SB RAS. In 1994-2007 the journal was issued in two series, Series 1 and Series 2.

Only papers written in Russian can be accepted for publication in the journal Discrete Analysis and Operations Research. Note that all accepted papers are later translated into English and published in Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics.

If you want  to publish your paper in English only  then you should send it  to Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics directly via the Pleiades publishing system Author Portal (sciencejournals.ru) (the registration is required).

Note that you may send your paper in both languages. If the quality of Russian and  English would be good and the paper will be accepted after the refereeing, it will be published in both journals at  the same time.

The electronic version of the journal including full texts of articles is available on the platform of the Russian Scientific Electronic Library www.elibrary.ru and on the All-Russian Mathematical Portal Math-Net.Ru.  The journal is indexed in the EBSCO databases. It is also included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), which is deployed on the Web of Science platform.
The journal is abstracted and indexed by Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH, Math-Net.Ru, elibrary.ru (RSCI). The English version, the Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, is indexed by Scopus.
